Mission Beach’s natural beauty and idyllic charm has long been a magnet for artists and creatives. Likewise, the vision and ongoing support from individuals, small businesses, and local companies inspired by these artists continues to encourage and enhance the vibrant and creative character of our small coastal community.

This unique character is revealed to more than 7000 people who pass through our doors annually to take advantage of the variety of creative opportunities on offer.

Mission Arts receives no regular funding from any level of government or other organization.

As a self-sustaining community arts organisation, the ongoing exhibitions, events and activities at Mission Arts are only made possible through the generous contributions of our donors & sponsors, active participation from our region's many talented artists, and the trojan efforts of our dedicated members and volunteers.

All aspects of our operation and programming are managed through our love of the arts, commitment to community, and desire to ensure our mission remains viable.
