Art From The Heart is a mentored weekly gathering for anyone wishing to learn, or further develop, acrylic painting techniques. Renowned local artist Sally Moroney is the group‘s primary mentor, though all participants are encouraged to offer creative and constructive guidance and feedback.
New members, seasonal visitors and beginners are most welcome.
Bring along a small canvas and a printed image of your choosing. Paints and brushes are supplied (or you may bring you own). Morning tea is available by donation.

MATEs (Mission Arts Theatre Ensemble) aims to give beginners and experienced performers the opportunity to work together to bring comedy sketches, short plays, and entertainment to Mission Beach. These weekly Improv classes are open to people aged 10 to 80+ and are facilitated by experienced Improv actor Patrick Liddle.
These classes will give all participants a solid grasp of long form UCB inspired improv comedy (the style that Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, and Donald Glover were taught) as well as keeping those acting skills fresh!
The lessons will wrap up with a GRADUATION showcase at the end which will also be a MATEs Christmas themed wrap-up event (to be eligible to graduate you must attend at least 7 of the 11 classes).

Zsolt holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and currently resides in Tasmania. WIth over 40 years experience around the globe, this is your chance to be tutored by a master.
