Mission Arts Pottery Studio
Mission Arts Pottery Studio will be open for a supervised session from 11am-3pm. Meg, a Mission Arts member and an experienced potter, will be on hand to offer assistance. Open to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Minimum age requirement for open sessions is 8 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Session cost: Mission Arts Members ($7/day), Non-Members ($15/day). Session cost includes use of the pottery studio space, equipment and tools under supervision. Clay, glazes and firing costs are additional.
Though the supervised session is open to individuals regardless of previous pottery experience, it is not designed to be a one-on-one tutorial nor is it intended as a substitute for basic introductory level pottery courses/workshops.

Art From The Heart is a mentored weekly gathering for anyone wishing to learn, or further develop, acrylic painting techniques. Renowned local artist Sally Moroney is the group‘s primary mentor, though all participants are encouraged to offer creative and constructive guidance and feedback.
New members, seasonal visitors and beginners are most welcome.
Bring along a small canvas and a printed image of your choosing. Paints and brushes are supplied (or you may bring you own). Morning tea is available by donation.

Yuki Horiki is a contemporary artist born in Japan and living in Mission Beach. These artworks have been created from impressions left in her memory after living in Cape York, the Torres Straits, Bedarra Island and Mission Beach over the last 35 years.
