Join this friendly and informal group of knit, crochet and textile enthusiasts for a morning of creativity and connection. Beginners and seasonal visitors most welcome. BYO projects and materials (if possible) or work on our shared community projects.
MATEs (Mission Arts Theatre Ensemble) aims to give beginners and experienced performers the opportunity to work together to bring comedy sketches, short plays, and entertainment to Mission Beach. All ages welcome for front and back stage roles (e.g. acting, playwriting, lighting/sound, set/costume design, stagehand). Juniors (4:30-5:30pm; Seniors 5:30-7pm).

Art From The Heart is a mentored weekly gathering for anyone wishing to learn, or further develop, acrylic painting techniques. Renowned local artist Sally Moroney is the group‘s primary mentor, though all participants are encouraged to offer creative and constructive guidance and feedback.
